Goa, Apr 6: It’s champagne time at JWT India, Leo Burnett and Mudra Communications. Ad majors JWT and Leo Burnett have won two ‘Grand Prix’ awards at the 41st Abby Awards at Goafest 2008.

At the glitzy awards show held at the Cavelossim beach in Goa, Mudra Communications walked away with a grand Prix for its client ‘Cycle Pure’.

Following the international format of advertising awards, the Goafest committee has introduced a new format for awards this year, said Jagdip Bakshi, chairman of the Goafest 2008 Committee.”

Goafest is now the second largest advertising awards function after Cannes. This year, we have a cluster of four agencies, JWT, O&M, Leo Burnett and Contract sharing the top space,” he explained.
