Mumbai, January 19:: ICICI Bank's current and savings account deposits went up by 33 per cent to Rs 62,494 crore as on December 31, 2007, from Rs 47,062 crore during the corresponding period previous year, the bank said.
The bank's total deposits now stand at a whopping Rs 2,29,799 crore as of December 31, against Rs 1,96,893 crore as of December 31, 2006.
The advances went up by 25 per cent to Rs 2,15,517 crore as of December 31 against Rs.1,72,763 crore the year before.
The bank's retail advances were Rs 1,32,311 crore accounting for 61 per cent of total advances.
Profit after tax for the nine month period ending December 31, went up 32 per cent to Rs 3,008 crore from Rs 2285 crore for the nine month period ended December 31, 2006.
The bank's net non-performing assets accounted for 1.47 per cent of net customer assets.
The capital adequacy of the bank was 15.8 per cent, against RBI stipulated minimum capital adequacy of 9 per cent.
