Chennai, Mar 31 : Gradatim IT Ventures, provider of micro-transactions and e-discovery services in India has announced a 50:50 JV partnership with Singapore-based DM Corporation (DMC), a leading data gathering services company, to provide litigation, due-diligence and e-discovery services in the Asia Pacific region, said K L Balasubramanian, director, business development, Gradatim.
Speaking to FE, he said the JV will provide both physical and e-services on ligitations, arbitrations and will provide due-diligence services through its own legal experts in India, who are well-versed with the legal processess and aspects of major countries in the world.
“The JV will help global legal firms and service providers to leverage on Gradatim’s strength in APAC market and leverage on its support services out of India, along with the expertise of DMC, which over the years has built a reputation for exceptional quality and enhanced repeat businesses. Gradatim aims to be a one-stop shop for litigation firms and corporate in-house counsels,” Balasubramanian said.
“We are investing $1 million in the JV initially and expect revenue of $7 million in the first year of operations,” he added. This is not the BPO service, it is a utility-based high end service model with legal experts to provide necessary back-up support, he added. “We have100 people now and would add more in our Chennai facility,” he added.
Gradatim offers complete e-discovery services using latest technology platforms enabling attorneys, lawyers in their due diligence process. “Our platform is completely online, collaborative in nature and secured,” he said.
DM Corporation (DMC), Singapore, offers data conversion, Asian language forms processing among a host of other services.
