Mumbai, July 7: : Commercial vehicles maker Eicher Motors Ltd on Monday said its sales for June was 2,677 units, up 10 per cent from a year ago, sending its shares up.

Domestic sales for June rose 7 per cent to 2,432 units, Eicher Motors said in a statement.

Exports for the month grew about 27 per cent to 245 units.

Total sales for the Jan-June period stood at 6,742 units, a growth of 10.3 per cent year-on-year.

Shares of Eicher Motors were up 4.8 per cent at 253.50 rupees in a strong Mumbai market.
