With most Indian companies adopting optimised information technology infrastructure in a major way, Neville Burdan, general manager, Microsoft solutions, Datacaft, is a busy man these days. The company has completed the IT infrastructure solutions project for the State Bank of India.
Says Burden, “At Datacraft we do not sell products, but sell solutions. Indian companies across all sectors are looking at IT solutions to increase their topline and bottomline.” Datacraft provides customised business solutions and helps companies in managing their IT infrastructure like networking, security and data management. Headquartered in Singapore, the company operates in 30 countries across five continents and has strong presence in sectors like banking, pharma, IT, media and communications.
Burden’s role involves strategy and business development for Microsoft Solutions. He leads the regional team of architects in designing and delivering end-to-end solutions and consulting services in desktop deployments, converged communications and messaging and collaboration.
He has over 25 years of experience in the information technology industry and has worked on both hardware and software technologies and solutions. Prior to this, Burdan spent eight years with Microsoft Asia as regional manager for South Asia and Korea.
