Chandigarh, Nov 4: Delhi-based insurance brokering firm Optima Insurance Brokers is planning to cash in on Internet as a low cost platform to reach out to potential customers across the country. The firm, that launched its online retail venture click2insure.in few months ago, is conducting pilot tests for offering online two-wheeler insurance and home insurance.
The insurance portal at present offers insurance products including term insurance, overseas insurance, car & two wheeler, health, life insurance and recently launched terrorism insurance cover.
In an interaction with FE, Rahul Aggarwal, CEO, Optima Insurance Brokers and www.click2insure.in informed that using internet has helped the company to cut down the processing expenses. “The paper work has been reduced, making the whole process quite fast and the customer are also getting insurance certificate immediately,” he said.
