Chandigarh, Nov 20: Country's leading Wireless Application Providers (WAP), a Spice Group Company Cellebrum.com is set for a major revamp. The company is not only re-branding itself by changing its name to 'Spice mobile VAS' but has also identified three verticals under which it would now be operating. The verticals would be telco-centric services to take care of product innovation and management, mobile marketing and social networking and community services.

The Parwanoo-based company, which has 14 I PRs to its name, has interests across various spheres covering the field of telecom solutions, office automation, information technology and most importantly Value Added Services (VAS). "Post re-branding, the company will focus more on creating new products. It has opened four R&D centers across the country in order to create innovative products especially across all three categories of VAS-SMS, GPRS and voice based," Saket Agrawal, COO, Spice mobile VAS, told FE.

As of now, the most popular services of the company are anytime anywhere music, hello tunes, ring tones, mobile radio which alone receives a whopping 10 million calls a day, background music. "Apart from this, the company has its keen focus on the social networking and community services like fastest finger. It is also looking at the potential of advertising on mobile," he added.

The company not only has about 70 products in its kitty but is also expanding its horizons fast. Notably, in the country, it is a leading WAP with installations for most of the telecom service providers like Hutch, IDEA, BPL, Escotel, BSNL, Reliance, MTNL and other corporate like Hero, ICICI, Vardhman, HDFC, Nahar International etc.
