With a mission to propagate, nurture and foster the spirit of entrepreneurship among students, youth and future leaders, the entrepreneurship cell of the Indian Institute of Management, Indore, recently conducted the first edition of its flagship entrepreneurship summit, Advait 11. NEN, TiE, The Financial Express, JAM were the sponsors and partners for the event. The summit, inaugurated by Dr N Ravichandran, director, IIM Indore, saw a gathering of around 150 aspiring entrepreneurs and VCs. The main event was ‘Chakravyuh’, a business plan competition specifically aimed at bringing out the entrepreneur in the participants. Another event was the ‘Start-up Bazaar’, which gave entrepreneurs an opportunity to pitch their ventures to VCs.

Institute of Marketing & Management holds its annual convocation 2009-11

Institute of Marketing & Management, New Delhi, held the convocation ceremony for the batch of 2009-11, both PGDM and PGDM (Finance), at the IMM Convention Centre. The chief guest, Lt Gen (R) Rajender Singh, CEO, DLF Foundation, delivered the convocation address. The diplomas were then awarded to all the graduates by the chief guest as well as by Dr Jagjit Singh, founder & executive president; ND Rajpal, resident director, Alembic Ltd, & member, IMM Governing Council, and Dr Gaganjit Singh, director general, IMM.
