



: Microsoft India has appointed Anil Sethi as the group director of original equipment manufacturer (OEM) business group. Sethi served as the vice-president (System x) of IBM for 10 years, prior to this.
“Our focus is to ensure major coverage throughout the length and breadth of the country. To create deep relations with our partners, we would like to encourage new companies, which manufacture personal computers (PCs). In case they require incubation we will like to do that and help the country by offering genuine software.”
Delhi-based Sethi’s success mantra is to ensure that their various clients and channels see the business as a revenue model as the margins are very thin. He adds that he will see that they make profits and are successful. Sethi puts his stint at IBM as a learning experience and says that the techniques he learnt there would come in handy at Microsoft, bringing both the technology gaints closer.
