Best way to have the last laugh
Consider this. Laughter Yoga is the fastest growing health and fitness system in the world. It is the only exercise regime that has powerful mental as well as physical benefits. It combines laughter with yogic breathing exercises to provide efficient low-impact workouts that do not require special clothing or equipment. In addition to providing a powerful cardiac workout, laughter is also one of the best defenses against stress.
I started Laughter Yoga in March 1995 with five other people. We met every morning in a nearby park to laugh together. We shared jokes and funny stories to trigger laughter, but soon we ran off anecdotes that were not in some way negative or offensive.
Determined to continue the laughter, I decided to create exercises to trigger laughter without humour. That’s when Laughter Yoga took root. I approached laughter as a body exercise so it’s easy to laugh even if you’re depressed or in a bad mood.
Soon the group was laughing without the use of jokes or humour. They reported wonderful effects from their daily sessions. In no time more people joined in.
