New Delhi; August 20, 2008:: Anita Belani has been named Country Head for India, by Right Management, the world’s leading provider of integrated human capital consulting services, and solutions. Belani will report to Keiji Miyaki, Executive VP of Right Management Asia Pacific.
Belani will oversee Right Management’s expanded capabilities to address the growing need for qualified talent in India.
Keiji Miyaki, said, “As more global companies have established operations in India, and domestic employers have expanded their operations, the need to attract, retain, and develop talent has become much more critical.”
“Employers in India are also facing a growing need to ensure high levels of performance and retention. Belani’s appointment demonstrates Right Management’s commitment to helping organizations in India compete, grow, and succeed,” he added.
Before joining Right Management, Belani was Country Head for Watson Wyatt India’s Human Capital Consulting. She has 21 years experience in senior strategic human resources positions with organizations like Sun Microsystems, KPMG LLP and Jardine Fleming among others.
Belani holds a master’s degree in business administration from XLRI, Jamshedpur and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Miranda House, Delhi University.
As Belani joins the company, Anil Sachdev is stepping down from his CEO role and is becoming a special advisor to Right Management India. Over the years, Sachdev has been instrumental in helping the growth of the business and in building a very strong consulting team in preparation for his transition.
