New Delhi, May 9: Notebooks and other networking devices maker ASUS Technology on Friday launched limited edition of notebooks priced at Rs 2,00,000 in India co-branded with Italian Sports car maker Lamborghini.
ASUS also introduced ASUS-Lamborghini ZX1 PDA phone in the Indian market with a price tag of Rs 47,777.
The ASUS-Lamborghini VX3 notebooks would come in the signature yellow and black colours of Lamborghini and is based on Intel's Core 2 Duo processor.
"The launch of the Lamborghini ZX1 PDA Phone and the VX3 notebook, marks ASUS' entry into the ultra premium segment in India. The consumers mindset and taste is rapidly changing in India and we are confident that we will find the right kind of audience for these products here," ASUS Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa General Manager Benson Lin said.
Both products are developed keeping in mind the aesthetics and performance of the Lamborghini race car, he said.
The phone which runs on Windows Mobile has a 2.8" touch screen, a 9-way navigational key and a unique racing interface that can be modified to the users mode of operation.
"PDA phones are increasingly becoming fashion gadgets and the ASUS ZX1 gives the users the ultimate ownership experience," ASUS (India)Business Head Mobile Communications Business Edward Wang said.
PDA or personal digital assistant is a handheld device which include features of cellphone, computer, music player and camera.
"We wanted the end-users to get an experience as driving a Lamborghini car," Wang added.
