5 held for protesting against Valentine's Day celebrations

Five workers of a Tamil Nadu-based Hindu outfit were arrested today when they attempted to stage a demonstration and destroy Valentine's day cards, police said.
The Hindu Makkal Katchi workers raised slogans against celebrating Valentine's Day falling on February 14, which they termed as against Indian culture.
When they attempted to tear the cards they were carrying, police prevented and arrested them, sources said, adding, they had not obtained permission to stage a demonstration.
