BJP, on the other hand, was seemingly bettering its position in Telangana, holding out hope that it alone could secure statehood for the region, given its previous track record of creating smaller states like Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh and Uttarkhand.

By winning two by-elections, the BJP proved this point.

Around 900 students committed suicide fighting for Telangana and ruling Congress is cheating Telangana people .Unfortunately when KCR stayed in Delhi,he was baited with some ministry by UPA and for 2 or 3 months the agitation has been watered down. However 2012 saw the agitation for Telangana in peak. English Media has not given sufficient coverage obviously under Congress instructions
