150th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda
On January 12, Prof Rajkumar Kadam from Vidya Pratishthan’s Arts, Science & Commerce College delivered a lecture highlighting Vivekananda’s teachings for Class IX to XII students. In his motivational speech, he inspired the budding talent of the school.
Teacher Bhakti Kadam introduced the chief guest, while Shivani Berad, also a teacher, proposed vote of thanks. Principal N S Kharosekar felicitated the guests. Essay writing and debate competitions based on Vivekananda’s thoughts and philosophy — Power is strength, weakness is death — were also organised.
Cultural programme at Vidya Pratishthan
Vidya Pratishthan’s English Medium School, CBSE, Baramati, celebrated its annual cultural programme on January 9 at ‘Ga Di Ma’ auditorium. The programme had two sessions — pre-primary and primary.
The first session was inaugurated by Jayashree Satav, president, Baramati Municipality, in the presence of guest of honour Vaishali Kokare, vice-president PTA-VPEMS. Satav, in her speech, admired the efforts of the school in all-round development of the students. She believes that the annual cultural programme of school provides a perfect platform for students to showcase their talents.
