SummaryThe most exciting part of my job is the pace of the business!

The job: The most exciting part of my job is the pace of the business! The smartphone business is the fastest growing industry, where the technology and business model evolves at an unparalleled speed. It has also given me the opportunity to deliver unsurpassed growth in the Indian market. I am fortunate to work in a company that creates the most innovative and cutting-edge technology in the world, and we believe in putting our the best foot forward. I have high expectations from the people I work with and expect them to deliver their best and live up to their commitments. What I love about my job is that it pushes me to go that extra mile.

The weekdays: I start my day early, checking updates on my HTC One, before I hit the gym. Thereafter, I am mostly engaged with strategic and tactical meetings and conference calls with the various teams across the country. Then, during the day I ensure that I have one-on-one meeting with my employees to learn what they are doing and how are they going about it. And yes, travel is an essential part of conducting business and it takes most of the business week as I hop from one market to the other. I also attend relevant industry forums to keep myself abreast with the shape of things as we cater to the fastest evolving industry. After 9 pm, I completely switch over to my personal life and love to spend time with my family and friends.

The weekend: Weekends are the time when I like to get away with my family and try spending quality time with them. I spend part of my weekend ferrying kids for their various activities, spend time at the gym, attending family and friends get-togethers and catching up on my reading!

The toys:I love the business I am in. Smartphone is the one and only gadget I cannot live without. I use my HTC One for messages, emails, music, social networking, snacking on news, and for clicking memorable pictures of my family.

The logos: Just one, HTC, not because I work for this brand but because of the philosophy and ideology it stands for. It is a young brand that is bold, authentic and playful.
