‘Economy facing structural problems’
ENS Economic Bureau: New Delhi, Oct 17 2012, 01:24 IST
Welcoming the recent slew of reform measures undertaken by the government, former Reserve Bank of India governor YV Reddy on Tuesday said that these would help improve investor sentiments and bring more investors to the country.
However, he cautioned that the economy is also facing structural problems that need to be addressed.
“There are structural problems that need to be looked into for the economy to be fully revived. I think the finance minister has also spoken on this issue,” Reddy said on the sidelines of the fourth OECD World Forum.
