Vardhman Textile: Stocks of the company closed 4.82 per cent up at Rs 1005.45 as reports said that it may consider proposal to buy-back the fully paid-up equity shares of the company.

MCX and Financial Technologies: Stocks of MCX settled the day 1.66 per cent up at Rs 1025.80, while Financial Technologies scrip ended 3.18 per cent down at Rs 80.70 as CBI on Tuesday arrested promoter of FTIL and commodity bourse MCX Jignesh Shah in a case of alleged cheating and suppression of facts in getting SEBI extension to MCX-SX to continue as a private stock exchange in violation of norms. MCX rose after after it signed an agreement with Mozambique Commodities Exchange for strategic cooperation.
