Wholesale debt market segment of the National Stock Exchange today witnessed a total turnover of Rs 2,849.02 crore in 65 trades.

The 8.13 per cent government securities maturing in CG2022 traded value at Rs 525.00 crore at yeighted yield of 6.92 per cent, the 7.51 per cent government securities maturing in CG2027 traded value at Rs 234.02 crore at yeighted yield of 7.47 per cent and the 7.59 per cent government securities maturing in CG2029 traded value at Rs 150.00 crore at yeighted yield of 7.15 per cent
During the trading week ended today, total turnover was Rs 11,962.44 crore and the total number of trades was 329. The highest trade volume during the week was at Rs 2,849.02 crore as on today, while the lowest was Rs 1905.54 crore as on May 22.
This week, the weighted yield on government securities with a maturity period of 0-3 years, 3-7 years, 7-10 years and more than 10 years quoted at 6.58 per cent, 6.85 per cent, 7.06 per cent and 7.13, respectively.

The weighted yields on treasury bills maturing for 0-90 days, 91-182 days and 183-365 days was 6.23 per cent, 3.36 per cent and 6.43 per cent, respectively.
During the week, the cumulative value of government securities, treasury bills and state government securities trading on WDM was Rs 7,544.04 crore, representing 63.06 per cent of the total traded value. Trading in non-government securitis was at Rs 4,418.40 crore, representing 36.94 per cent, an NSE release said.
