The BSE Sensex opened on a negative note on Tuesday following mixed global cues with Asian shares trading on a cautious note, keeping broad gains in check.
At 9.33 am, Sensex was down 35.06 points at 27,926.13. Similarly, Nifty was down 9.90 points at 8,449.75 during the same time.
“It would be the inflation figures that is likely to give momentum to further moves, as RBI’s rate announcement is approaching,” Anand James, Co Head Technical Research Desk, Geojit BNP Paribas said on markets movements.
