Reliance Industries: Reliance Industrie will announce their financial results for the quarter ended September 30, 2016 on Thursday later in the day.

NBCC: Government will sell 15 per cent stake on Thursday in state-owned construction company NBCC at a floor price of Rs 246.50 a share to raise about Rs 2,200 crore. The two-day offer for sale (OFS) will open for institutional investors and will be followed by retail sales on Friday.

KPIT: IT consulting and product engineering solutions firm KPIT on Wednesday registered 23.8 per cent decline in consolidated net profit to Rs 56.18 crore for the July-September quarter. The Pune-based company had reported a net profit of Rs 73.8 crore for the same period last year, it said in a statement.

RBL Bank: RBL Bank on Wednesday registered a 34.8 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 89.8 crore for the quarter ended on September 30, despite increase in provisions for bad loans. The bank had reported a net profit of Rs 66.9 crore in the corresponding quarter of last fiscal, RBL Bank said in a filing to BSE.

Hindustan Zinc: Hindustan Zinc on Wednesday reported a 15 per cent fall in net profit at Rs 1,901.87 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2016 on account of higher depreciation charges, among other factors. It had clocked a net profit of Rs 2,248.42 crore in the year-ago period.

Coal India: Coal India (CIL) will begin special spot e-auction of coal on Thursday and will put on offer 20 mt of the fossil fuel for various sectors, including power, amid government’s efforts for 24×7 power to all. According to an official, the auction will be conducted for four days beginning from Thursday.

Suzlon Energy: Suzlon has announced a joint venture with Canadian Solar for developing two solar projects of 15 MW each in Telangana. Canadian Solar will acquire 49 per cent stake in two special purpose vehicles of Suzlon, which have been set up for executing these projects. Canadian Solar will provide its solar PV modules, arrange project financing and contribute its technology expertise to ensure the commissioning of these projects in the financial year 2017. The company also announced a joint venture with the Unisun Energy Group for the development and construction of a 15-MW solar PV project at Bhainsa, Adilabad district of Telangana.

Quess Corp: The company has entered into agreements to acquire stakes in Singapore-based Comtel Solutions and two domestic firms – Terrier Security Services and Simpliance Technologies – for undisclosed sums. The deal would also give a boost to Quess’ operations in Asia Pacific markets such as Malaysia, the Philippines and Sri Lanka, where it operates. Initially, Quess will acquire a 64 per cent stake in Comtel, while the balance would be acquired in a phased manner over 2018-20.

Ujjivan Financial Services: Ujjivan Financial Services, a microfinance institution that is set to launch a small finance bank, plans to provide ATM benefits to unbanked and under-served customers across the country by using biometric-enabled machines. For this, the company has partnered with global payments and fintech provider Financial Software and Systems (FSS). This partnership with FSS is part of Ujjivan’s continuing effort to increasingly offer strategic omni-channel access to meet its differing customer needs across the country in a safe and secure manner.

Bharti Airtel: Bharti Airtel, has launched an exciting data offer for all customers purchasing a new 4G mobile handset. Airtel is offering 10 GB 4G/3G data on a recharge of Rs 249 along with any new 4G handset. 1 GB data will be instantly credited to the customer’s account and the additional 9 GB data can be claimed by the customer through MyAirtel App. The data will be valid for 28 days. Users can avail a maximum of 3 recharges within 90 days, on the offer. The special offer, which was introduced in Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh last week, has now been extended across India and is available across all brands of 4G handsets. Airtel 4G is currently available in 18 circles across India. In non 4G circles, 3G data will be available to customers with their 4G devices.

NCC Ltd: The NCC-BGR Consortium has been awarded the Pachhwara North Coal Block Mine Developer and Operator Project (MDO Project) by the West Bengal Power Development Corporation. The consortium has been formed between NCC (formerly Nagarjuna Construction Company) and BGR Mining & Infra with 51:49 per cent equity. The Pachhwara North Coal Block, located in Pakur, Jharkhand, has been allocated by the Coal Ministry to the WBPDCL. The coal extracted is for use for their power plants in West Bengal. This MDO Project basically comprises of activities relating to mine development, excavation of over burden and coal and transportation and related activities.

DB Corp: Media firm DB Corp reported 55.93 per cent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 88.51 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2016. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 56.76 crore in July-September period of the previous fiscal.

YES Bank:  Yes Bank posted a 31.3 per cent jump in net profit to Rs 801.5 crore for the second quarter ended September 30. It had recorded a net profit of Rs 610.4 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal.
