The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty remained under pressure for a third straight day on Wednesday as the benchmark BSE Sensex tumbled by 174 points to close at 25,406.33 on foreign fund outflows and weakness in global markets. The NSE Nifty dropped 43.65 points to close the day at 7,741.00.

SRF: Shares of the company closed 5.03 per cent up at Rs 1344.20 after it said it would begin operating the Chennai plant in phases after the factory was temporarily shut last month due to flooding on heavy rainfall. Later

Narayana Hrudayalaya: Shares of Narayana Hrudayalaya got listed at Rs 291 on the bourses with a premium of over 16 per cent over its issue price of Rs 250. The scrip closed at Rs 336.70, up 34.68 per cent from its its issue price and has touched a high and low of Rs 344.20 and Rs 291.00, respectively.

Glenmark Pharmaceuticals: Shares of the pharma company gained over 2 per cent in morning trade after the company received a tentative nod from the US health regulator for generic version of Sanofi-Aventis’ cardiac drug Multaq. Later, the shares closed 2.80 per cent down at Rs 906.65.

Thiru Arooran Sugars: Shares of the company were trading 4.01 per cent up at Rs 46.70 (12.50 pm) after it informed the bourses that it has received Rs 232 crore as advance against export of sugar over the next 8 years. The scrip ended 2.90 per cent up at Rs 46.20.

Bharati Shipyard: Share price of the company closed 4.96 per cent up at Rs 33.85 after the company informed BSE that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the company will be held on Thursday to consider the allotment of convertible warrants to Non-Promoters on preferential basis.

Royal Orchid: Shares of the company were trading with gains of 8.16 per cent at Rs 108.65 after it informed the bourses that SBI Mutual Fund has divested 8.43 per cent stake in Royal Orchid Hotels.  SBI Mutual Fund reported to the company vide letter date January 1, 2016, that there has been a change in the shareholding of Royal Orchid Hotels Ltd and they have sold 22,98,035 shares of Royal Orchid Hotels Ltd. Later, the stocks settled 0.35 per cent up at Rs 100.80.

Piramal Enterprises: Shares of the company were trading 1.58 per cent up at Rs 1002.00 in early trade after its committee of directors approved raising up to Rs 500 crore through issue of secured non-convertible debentures (NCDs). Later, the scrip settled 0.30 per cent up at Rs 989.40.

SITI Cable Network: Shares of the company closed 4.13 per cent down at Rs 37.15 after the Essel group firm said it plans to raise up to Rs 680 crore through issuance of warrants and optionally fully convertible debentures (OFCDs) to promoter companies.

Adani Ports & SEZ Ltd (APSEZL): Shares of the company ended 1.78 per cent down at Rs 251.50 itafter said it will expand its existing terminal AICTPL at its flagship Mundra port to develop it into a transshipment hub.
