Idea Cellular, Baba Arts among 7 stocks that remained in focus today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty ended flat, skidding from a 7-month high hit on Friday on account of selling in frontline blue chip counters. Sensex closed almost flat at 26,843, while Nifty index settled 1.85 points up at 8220.80.

Natco Pharma: Stocks of the pharma company ended 8.54 per cent up at Rs 518.35 after the company said its marketing partner Mylan Inc has received tentative approval from the US health regulator for selling generic Sorafenib tablets, used for cancer treatment, in the American market.

HUL: Stocks of the FMCG major closed 1.86 per cent up at Rs 884.90 after the company said it will split its Foods and Refreshments (F&R) business into two separate units in line with its global category structure.

NMDC: Shares of the company ended 4.16 per cent up at Rs 90.05 after its Board of Directors will meet next week to consider a proposal of buyback of company’s shares. The state-run firm, however did not elaborate upon the number of shares that it is planning to buyback.

Idea Cellular: Stocks of the company ended 9.97 per cent down at Rs 106.55 on reports that private equity firm Providence Equity Partners will sell about half its stake in Idea via a unit for up to Rs 1,400 crore.

Jubilant Life Sciences: Stocks of the company closed 1.42 per cent down at Rs 352.95 after it received final approval from the US health regulator for generic Levetiracetam injection, used for treatment of epilepsy, in the American market.

Oricon Enterprises: Stocks of the company settled 6.96 per cent down at Rs 65.50 after it informed BSE that Oricon Properties, a 100% subsidiary of the company has entered into a Joint Development Agreement with Tapir Realty Developers Ltd., a subsidiary of IndiaBulls Real Estate for development of its 7,810 sq. mtrs. plot situated at Dr. E. Moses Road, Worli, Mumbai – 400018.

Baba Arts: Baba Arts: Stocks of the company ended 5.96 per cent down at Rs 2.68 after it fixed the final price for buyback of up to 2,58,00,00 equity shares at Rs 3 per share for a total consideration of Rs 7.74 crore.
