When a mother not only comes and accepts major decisions taken by her child but also lends full support, it just sets some parenting standards for the others. Something similar happened recently when people went through the birth retraction message posted by Yolanda Bogert in the Courier-Mail.
The light hearted ad placed by the mother was all that her child might have been wishing for.
The ad read: ”In 1995 we announced the arrival of our sprogget, Elizabeth Anne, as a daughter. He informs us that we were mistaken. Oops! Our bad. We would now like to present, our wonderful son – Kai Bogert. Loving you is the easiest thing in the world. Tidy your room.”
And people couldn’t stop gushing over how easily and supportively she stood by her daughter’s decision of getting her sex changed. Twitter users couldn’t stop appreciating the move by the lady. Some even felt that she has laid the foundation to solid ‘Cool mother goals’.
Ms Bogert said she had known ‘something was different about Kai’ ever since he was a kid. So, when he came up with this decision, she wanted to extend her support to him. While 20 year old Kai is yet to decide the further course of action, the vote from his mother is already half the battle won as nothing else could have made it easier for him.
