Just one day ago, Indian cricket team’s captain Virat Kohli was at his aggressive best when this side defeated Australia in the 2nd Test of the ongoing four-match series against Australia and Wednesday morning, his switched to his romantic best and posted a message for Anushka Sharma and his mom on the Internationa Women’s Day which will make you respect the 28-year-old batsman even more. While the Indian captain was wished a very happy women’s day to every woman, he didn’t fail to recognise the contribution of two strongest women in his life: his mom and of course, Anushka Sharma.

After putting many pictures with Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma during the Valentine’s Day last month, this time Virat took to social media platform Instagram and posted an image with his mom and Anushka. The caption of the image read as, “Happy women’s day to every woman out there, but especially to the two strongest women in my life. My mom for looking after the family in toughest times in life and @anushkasharma for fighting against the odds regularly and standing up for righteousness and changing the norms ❤#happywomenday.”

Anushka Sharma is currently busy promoting her upcoming film ‘Phillauri’ which also stars Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh and ‘Life of Pie’ actor Suraj Sharma. This will also be Anushka’s second film as a producer after the critically acclaimed movie NH 10 in which she starred opposite Neil Bhooplam.

Virat Kohli, on the other hand, is leading the Indian side in four-match Test series against Australia. After losing the first match by 333 runs, Indian team scripted an inspirational comeback at Bangalore and won the game by 75-runs on Tuesday. The third match of the series will be played in Ranchi, starting from 14th March.
