India is still one of the few countries where the major chunk of marriages are arranged by parents or relatives or by a certain thrid party. The prospective bride or groom in such cases have a list of queries to their concern but what a Bangaluru based girl’s criteria for rejecting a guy was will surely surprise you.

The Bengaluru girl in question, Karishma Walia turned down a marriage prospect only because the guy had refused to let her have a dog in his house after marriage. The girl, a big time dog lover could not let it pass and turned him down. To the man it was definitely a baffling reason but not to Walia.

The screenshot of the conversation that went viral later was tweeted by @blahfamous (NOT Karishma Walia). In the chat between the two, it is seen how the boy tells Karishma that he does not want to have a dog in his house let alone sleep with him in the same bed. A determined Walia clearly tells him that ‘It won’t work out’.

The response to this news has been varied with animal lovers giving their vote in Walia’s favour, others claiming it a stupid reason. Some twitterati even claimed that there are ‘far bigger reasons to look for in a marriage proposal’ than sleeping with a dog.

However, @Blahfamous account holder kept vouching for the legit reason and even tweeted her support further by saying that a dog saved her from marrying a jerk & subjecting her to a miserable life, I suggest everyone to have a “dog test” before marriage.

Whether the test was valid enough or not, it sure created enough buzz on the social media and Twitterati had their share of fun for a while.
