IIT JEE Advanced results 2016: Anxious candidates will be relieved to know that their wait is almost over and that the declaration will most likely be made on Sunday; the latest updates can be checked at jeeadv.ac.in.

IIT JEE Advanced exam 2016 was organized by IIT Guwahati in collaboration with the Joint Admission Board 2016 across various centres for admission to engineering courses. About 1,98,000 students had appeared for the exam.
IIT Guwahati had released the official answer key to the JEE Advanced 2016 on June 5 and the Optical response sheet on June 1.

In order to escape the rush and other problems on Sunday, students must know how to check the results and below we provide the steps to check IIT JEE Advanced results 2016:

Step 1: Go to the official website jeeadv.ac.in

Step 2: Click on the link for ‘JEE Advanced Results’

Step 3: Enter details as required and submit

Step 4: IIT JEE Advanced results 2016 will appear on the screen

Step 5: Download and save it for future reference

Students who cleared the JEE-Mains, the first phase of the two-phase IIT-Joint Entrance Examinations, were eligible to sit for IIT JEE-Advanced. Those who will clear the final phase of the exam will be offered a place in one of the premier technology institutes.

The IIT JEE-Advanced 2016 was conducted in two parts — while Paper 1 was conducted from 9 am to 12 pm and Paper 2 was conducted from 2 pm to 5 pm. Paper 1 and 2 both comprised of 54 questions each — 18 from each subject — and were worth 186 marks. Each subject carried 124 marks, and the total marks was 372.

IIT JEE Advanced 2016 cut-offs are expected to be normal this year, i.e. 10 per cent per subject and 35 per cent overall as against 7 per cent per subject and 24.5 per cent overall in 2015.
