CBSE result 2015 10th: CBSE is yet to declare the result and this may well prove costly for some students as they may just miss out on some academic pursuits that they may prefer but whose deadline is imminent. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on its part has not really been helpful about the expected date of declaration and has not said anything officially. Even an approximate release date for the CBSE class 10 results 2015 has not been divulged.
What is more, the helplines and other numbers of CBSE have been either constantly engaged or no one is picking them up and now that the weekend is upon us, it is causing further frustration amongst students and their families as they know they cannot find out about the publishing date for the next two days.
As a result, approaches have to be made unofficially to the CBSE mandarins to reveal the dates, but this is also a fraught exercise. These ‘sources’, however, have indicated a firming of 25th May as the date of announcement of results, but they are unwilling to go out on a limb and actually say so officially. A few sources have also indicated that 27th May well be the date. However, one thing they all seem to agree on is that the results will be declared any time next week and that the CBSE will not drag the case into the week after that.
The problem is massive. What CBSE does not seem to realise is that some 13,73,853 students (over 8 lakh boys and 5.5 lakh girls) registered for the CBSE class 10 board exams 2015, and all of them have a schedule they have to adhere to, including choosing streams and starting their studies for the next year as soon as possible. Deciding streams and managing time have become a huge exercise as students today don’t want to be dependent just on their school studies and invest their effort, time and money in on other pursuits too, including sports, photography and much else. Some students in fact have already planned their activities for not just the next 12 months but 24 months and well beyond that. Since, increasingly, students now have the option of getting student loans as well as having well-off parents, many have factored in foreign studies into their schedule too.
All of these well laid out plans will be threatened if the delay is prolonged by the CBSE for the 10th class result.
