With budget fliers Spicejet and GoAir announcing their respective sales, premium airliner ‘Vistara’ too has jumped on the bandwagon and announced its own scheme that it calls a “Celebration Sale” today. This offer shall enable passengers to experience a new feeling in the upcoming festive month of December and extending the celebration to 2017 with starting fares of just Rs 999. The sale opened today and will continue till midnight of Friday, November 25, 2016 for passengers travelling between the dates December 5, 2016 and October 1, 2017. The bookings can also be made using the Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 currency notes until the midnight of Thursday, 24 November 2016. These notes will be accepted at Vistara’s airport ticket counters as per the aforementioned dates. The bookings under the “Celebration Sale” offer is now open on www.airvistara.com, Vistara’s iOS and Android mobile apps, at Vistara’s Airport Ticket Offices (ATOs), through Online Travel Agencies (OTAs), and through traditional travel agents. Vistara’s GDS partners include Abacus, Amadeus and Travelport, which will enable passengers to book via all major channels. The booking for this sale cannot be made at Vistara’s call center.
The sale enables travellers to choose from destinations across the entire length and breadth of the country and grab hold of the opportunity, booking tickets for their Christmas or New Year holidays and new year destination travels in 2017.
Seats under this offer are limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, and so, the earlier one books, the better the chance of grabbing the lowest fares.
