A Via.com spokesperson said that the company is witnessing almost 120% increase in bookings during Diwali and is hoping that the sale will give an added boost to festive season bookings. The company plans to promote the Diwali Sale extensively on its Android and iOS app. A Via spokesperson revealed that the mobile platform contributes 45% of flight bookings and 25% of hotel bookings, and the company expects the number to spike to 70% and 50% respectively during the sale.
