Pinterest has rolled out a buy button on its pins for the iPhone and iPad apps.
According to the Techcrunch.com, Buyable Pins let some retailers who are partners with Pinterest and retailers use Shopify and Demandware.
Pinterest announced Buyable Pins in early June. The tool allows the retailers to add a buy button to pins that let the users purchase products directly from Pinterest. Users will start getting emails when they purchase the products.
The buy button shows up on Rich Pins, which have more information than just a normal pin with a link to a product.
Users will get purchased products delivered to them once they click the buy button after putting in their credit card and address. The buy button shows up in all the app’s features, like search and the home feed.
