Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Oppo is all set to launch its latest device, the Oppo F3 in India today. The smartphone’s highlight is its dual selfie camera setup. The company had sent media invites for the launch, and the event is in Mumbai, which will kick off at 12:30 PM. The live streaming of the event will be available for you to watch on YouTube. In its endeavour to kickstart the ‘Group Selfie’ trend, Oppo had recently introduced the Selfie Expert F3 Plus with a dual front camera. Even the Oppo F3 Plus had the two-camera setup on its front, as it had a 16MP+8MP front camera with 120-degree wide-angle view. The company has partnered with Baahubali to launch the Oppo F3 smartphone.
While the F3 Plus features a 6-inch display, the Oppo F3 is a smaller sized model with 5.5 inches Full HD screen. The display is made with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. In terms of camera, the rear shooter is 13MP. The look and design of both F3 and F3 Plus appear to be similar, other than a replacement in antenna lines. Also, there is a capsule-shaped HOME button which also acts as a fingerprint scanner. Oppo F3 smartphone features the Octa Core MediaTek MT6750T processor with Mali T860. The device comes with 4GB RAM alongside an internal storage of 64 GB storage, which can be expanded up to 128 GB using a microSD card. The phone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Oppo’s ColorOS 3.0 skin.
F3 is a 4G VoLTE-enabled smartphone consists of two nano SIM cards slots along with a place for a microSD card. The phone is fueled by a 3,200 mAh battery. In terms of dimensions, Oppo F3 measures 153.3 × 75.2 ×7.3 mm and weighs 153 grams. When it comes to connectivity, the device supports WiFi 802.11ac (dual-band), Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS.

Oppo F3 Plus’ Gold variant was priced at Rs 30,990. Since the F3, is a smaller version of the device, it is expected that the price will be somewhere around Rs 24,000 to Rs 26,000.
