Chinese smartphone, OnePlus One has been spotted on the benchmarking website, GeekBench and the OnePlus 2 was spotted on GFXBench. According to both the reports, the OnePlus One will run Google’s Android 7.0 Nougat while the OnePlus 2 will run the latest Android 7.1 Nougat. The OnePlus 2 has a subtext which goes like ‘Invalid CynogenMod (userdebug / test-keys)’. In this surprising move, OnePlus will bring the latest Android Nougat to the OnePlus One smartphone which is two generations old. OnePlus was obliged to give out a software update for 24 months max, yet it will oblige the OnePlus One smartphone which is two and a half years old, with the Android Nougat.
GeekBench score on model OnePlus One shows a 976 single-core score and 2521 multi-core score. The new report shows that the smartphone will run on Android 7.0. The only issue is that the Snapdragon 801 processor does not have the Vulcan graphics API support, and hence not compatible with Nougat. However, there has been no official statement by OnePlus for any of the two devices which run on Android Nougat operating system. Just last month OnePlus had announced on one of its forums that it will be rolling out VoLTE support for the OnePlus 2 via an OTA update. Also read | OnePlus 3T leak: Faster smartphone with Android Nougat 7 and Snapdragon 821 expected to come soon

According to earlier reports, the latest variant of the smartphone by OnePlus was speculated to be named as OnePlus 3 Plus or OnePlus 3S. Now in a recent report in Weibo, made by a OnePlus designer, the smartphone may as well be called as OnePlus 3T. The OnePlus 3T is likely to sport similar design language found in the OnePlus 3, especially, the all-metal chassis. It is hailed as the refreshed OnePlus 3 before the launch of the highly anticipated OpnePlus 4.
