Users of the taxi hailing service Ola will now have the chance to experience the OnePlus 3T smartphone. Commuters can book a free OnePlus ride. This offer has been announced by the company for Ola users in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Pune. Once the free OnePlus ride is booked, the company promised that the phone will arrive within 15 minutes. However, the company will give priority to members of Ola Select. There are more merchandise offers of OnePlus to Ola Select members. Luckey commuters will also get complimentary vouchers worth Rs 500 for the OnePlusStore.in platform. Interestingly, if the driver does not reach your destination within 15 minutes, Ola will give you a OnePlus bank of 10,mAh capacity.

We are excited to have partnered with Ola to bring forth the OnePlus 3T experience to users in the most personalised way.” The ‘OnePlusOlaDash’ offer on the app will be available from 12 PM to 6 PM in cities on the following days, Delhi and Bangalore (December 13), Mumbai and Hyderabad (December 14), Pune and Kolkata (December 14). Raghuvesh Sarup, CMO & Head of Categories at Ola, said, “The much awaited OnePlus 3T, launched earlier this month, can be experienced by Ola Select customers exclusively through the specially created on-demand category on the Ola app. Ola’s Select customers will be the first in the country to preview a phone that has been touted as ‘The best phone in India right now’.”
OnePlus 3T will be sold exclusively on Amazon from December 14 on 12:01 am. The smartphone will come in two variants, the 64GB version will be available in Gun Metal and Soft Gold versions priced at Rs 29,999. And the 128GB device will come only in the Gun Metal colour version priced at Rs 34,999. The earlier version, the OnePlus 3 was priced at Rs 25,999 in the country and was also sold exclusively on Amazon. There is a OnePlus online store in India which was recently launched.
The OnePlus 3T has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 Quad-core Kyro processor, Adreno 530 CPU with the 6GB RAM. Meanwhile, Selfie-lovers will get a whopping 16-megapixel camera at the phone’s front as well as a ‘smile capture’ which automatically clicks a picture when you, well, smile. Meanwhile, the rear camera is a decent 16MP with 4K video support, and the company has added ‘Intelligent Pixel Technology’ which essentially reduces low light noise. It has also added a sapphire lens and improved EIS (electronic image stabilisation). OnePlus has improved the battery capacity of the device by 13%.
While the OnePlus 3 had a 3000mAh capacity, the 3T variant has a 3400mAh capacity, which gets it closer to other rival smartphones like the Google Pixel. The OnePlus 3T has a 5.5-inch, AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels (401 PPI pixel density) and a Corning Gorilla Glass. Both the devices have the 64 GB version, the only addition being a 128GB variant. OnePlus 3T runs on Android Marshmallow currently but Android Nougat support is expected to be coming soon as promised by the company.
