Flipkart ‘Big Billion Days’ sale, which concluded on 17th October, has reportedly been a whopping success, but with the festive season still running, the e-retailer has come up with ‘ new launches’ of various smartphones that includes iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, Nexus 6P, Moto X Style, Honor 7, Micromax Bolt Q339, Intex Aqua V5 and Moto G (2nd Gen) LTE – prices start at Rs 2,499 and rise over Rs 90, 000.
Interestingly, the just concluded 5-day ‘Big Billion Days’ sale by Flipkart, now in its second edition, saw a business turnover of over $300 million in gross merchandise volume (GMV) which was three times bigger than last year with the participation of 40,000 sellers and millions of visitors.
These new Flipkart offers indicate the e-retailer is not likely to slow down the ‘sale’ momentum created by the ‘Big Billion Days’ campaign during the festive season, especially as rivals’ initiatives are underway.
With a tagline ‘the only thing that has changed is everything’, iPhone 6s and 6s Plus are available at a starting price of Rs 62,000. Flipkart is also offering the Nexus 6P smartphone with the punch line ‘Elegantly designed, pure android’.
Another catchy phrase is being used by Flipkart for Moto X Style – ‘Beautiful inside and out’. Moto X Style is available at a starting price of Rs 29,999.
Honor 7 – with catchphrase ‘Your 7 senses’ – is priced at Rs 22,999.
Moto G (2nd Gen) LTE is available at Rs 8,999 with a tag ‘Exceptional Phone, Exceptional Price.’
Flipkart is also offering some low budget smartphones. The ‘Power packed performance’ handset Micromax Bolt Q339 is priced at Rs 3,499, whereas Intex Aqua V5 is available at Rs 2,499.
