Micromax Canvas Fantabulet priced at Rs 7,499 was launched on Wednesday and the smartphone will be available in Chrome Gold colour through the e-commerce website Flipkart. Micromax says aim is to disrupt India’s popular phablet market.
The Micromax Canvas Fantabulet, according to the company, is its biggest smartphone ever – the handset packs a a 6.98-inch high-definition IPS screen.
The Micromax Canvas Fantabulet smartphone design combines ergonomic and stylish form factor and best-in-class technology features to offer a rich multimedia experience as well as efficient work tool.
“We ignited the phablet category with the launch of Canvas range of devices which proved to be extremely popular among the consumers. With the launch of Canvas Fantabulet, we are yet again pioneering a new category that will change the way people use smartphones, making it their first choice for consumption and productivity needs” Vikas Jain, co-founder of Micromax Informatics, said in a statement.
The Micromax Canvas Fantabulet smartphone has a large 16M colors display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels and 2.5 mm thick dual box speakers deeply integrated with DTS sound technology – making it an entertainment powerhouse for a long lasting audio-visual experience with its 3,000 mAh battery.
The Micromax Canvas Fantabulet smartphone runs on the Android 5.0 (Lollipop) operating system, and also packs a 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera and a 2 megapixel selfie shooter.
The Micromax Canvas Fantabulet smartphone also offers, 8 GB on-board memory and a 32 GB expandable memory card.
