Delhi CM and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal has capped his weeks and months of accusations against the Narendra Modi government with a more serious, even sensational, charge a couple of days ago in the wake of a number of cases being lodged against his party MLAs and their subsequent arrests. Here is what Kejriwal said, “I want to tell everyone today that it is a very critical time. They (the Modi government) can go to any extent. They can try to kill us. They can try to kill me. They can do anything”. While all his previous accusations have been taken in stride by the common man, the newest broadside at the Centre, has tickled the twitterati pink and they reacted in kind. And one of the more interesting, hilarious, perhaps even ‘hatke’, conversations happened with Ola Cabs whose motto is ‘Getting people where they need to be’. All of these central characters to the drama are funneled into this wisecrack. Read all about it below:
An inappropriately named query meant for Ola came via ‘Arvind Kejriwal @TrollKejri’. It was a plea for assistance: “Hello @Olacabs I need help”. The post even packed a genuine photo of Arvind Kejriwal!
It took quite some time for mobile app car rental company Ola to react – one hopes that that is not the usual time span Ola takes to respond to customer calls, but react it did. At its professional best, the personal transport provider put up this post: Ola @Olacabs “@TrollKejri Yes, How can we help?” It is another matter that the honchos at Ola should have guessed that this was really not a conversation they should be getting into, suffice it to say that the company politely extended a hand of assistance to a needy soul crying for help in the digital vacuum.
The response from the adventure seeker was incendiary, “@Olacabs Modi ji mujhe maarne ke lie tumse gaadi maangne aayenge. Dena mat”.
