Flipkart Festive Dhamaka Sale has started ahead of the festival of Diwali, and there are massive offers, deals, and discounts on smartphones. This is the second round of sale from e-commerce websites, as even Amazin India opened its Great Indian Festival Sale on Wednesday. Both Flipkart and Amazon India are offering big discounts on major mobile brands like Samsung, Apple, Xiaomi, Motorola, and more. Meanwhile, if you are a seasoned online buyer, the offers do not appear to be anything new. However, there are certain offers which stand out from the crowd of deals on the web portals. One of them is the Samsung Galaxy S7 smartphone. The one-year-old Samsung mobile, which was launched at Rs 46,000 in India in March 2016, can now be purchased for just Rs 7,990. Find out how:

Samsung, in the year 2018, has launched three new flagship smartphones: Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+, and the Galaxy Note 8. This makes the Samsung Galaxy S7 look a bit old. However, the mobile still packs a punch, when it comes to specifications of the smartphone. Flipkart, under its Diwali special Festive Dhamaka Sale, has posted a 32 percent discount on the Galaxy S7. This brings down the price of the smartphone from Rs 46,000 to Rs 30,990. When it comes to the under Rs 8,000 price, offers like these should be taken with a pinch of salt. There is an exchange offer on the Samsung Galaxy S7, and the value goes upto Rs 23,000. So, if you have a smartphone which fits the bill and you want to change it with the Samsung device, you will be eligible for the maximum discount. This takes the price down to Rs 7,990.

When it comes to the Samsung Galaxy S7 exchange offer, it makes little sense, since the Rs 23,000 is valid only on premium smartphones. When we checked the list, selecting the Apple iPhone 7 Plus option showed the maximum exchange value of Rs 23,000. Even the iPhone 7 showed Rs 20,000 only. This may not be a great offer since the iPhone 7 Plus is still a modern device with dual cameras and other innovative features. There may not be any reason to exchange the device. However, if you do not wish to avail the offer, there are EMI options too which start at Rs 1060 per month.

In terms of specifications, the Samsung Galaxy S7 has a 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The memory can be expanded using a microSD card. The phone features a 5.1 inch Quad HD Display along with 3,000 mAh battery. It has a single 12MP camera at the back and 5MP camera on the front. In India, the Galaxy S7 runs the Exynos 8890 Octa Core Processor.
