Earth Day 2017: Google doodle motivates to protect environment and save planet

Google on Saturday changed its doodle and this time also, it has another important message for all.

Google on Saturday changed its doodle and this time also, it has another important message for all. Every year, Earth Day is celebrated on April 22 worldwide, and with the Earth Day-themed doodle, Google supports and promotes the environment protection. The doodle this time is although very interesting as the internet giant has pushed out their special Doodle in an animated and interactive logo, made up of 12 different slides. The slide follows a story of a fox who dreams about an Earth that’s been polluted and adversely affected by climate change. The fox wakes frightened and urgently starts making small lifestyle changes to care for the Earth. Along the way, the fox’s  friends – the cat and the frog – joined the quest to protect and nurture the environment. These slides showed a guide to easy tips that could help in saving the planet. It highlighted smalls practices that one can imbibe into their daily lives and that can contribute to save the planet.

Plant more trees in your community

The internet giant came up with some basic tips to be more eco-friendly, from eating locally sourced food which has a higher share of fruits and vegetables to carpooling to common destinations. Google has also tried to motivate people to plant as many trees as possible so as to help in combating the rising pollution levels. It has also urged people to save energy by turning off the lights when not in use and make use of recyclable goods.

Try carpooling, walking, cycling or taking public transit for a day

The Google alters it’s logo on Google’s homepage so as to mark the celebration of important events, holidays, achievements and people. And on Saturday the web giant pulled out this creative doodle to spread awareness to ‘Save Earth’!
