BlackBerry DTEK60 smartphone is available for pre-order once again and this time it is US. Though BlackBerry DTEK60 smartphone still hasn’t been officially announced by the Canadian company. The smartphone was last month accidentally made public on company’s website ahead of any official announcement. The official webpage with BlackBerry DTEK60 smartphone featuring few specifications was soon taken down by the company.
There was a similar incident last week in which Canadian retailer NCIX listed the BlackBerry DTEK60 for preorder in its online store. Prior to NCIX, BlackBerry itself published a writeup for the DTEK60. B&H is currently listing the DTEK60 on its website, with a price of $499.99 for an unlocked unit that will work with GSM-based carriers.
This price comes from a leaked pre-order page from B&H Photo that has since been taken down. In addition to a price, the leaked retailer posting also confirms some of the leaked specs we saw last month, including a 5.5-inch QHD display, fingerprint scanner, 32GB internal memory, and 4GB RAM.
According to the website BlackBerry DTEK60 smartphone features a 5.5-inch QHD Amoled display with 534ppi pixel density; a Snapdragon 820 processor; 4GB of RAM; 32GB of inbuilt storage; a 21-megapixel rear camera. It measures 153.9×75.4x7mm, weighs 165 grams, and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
