Bloomberg reports that iPhone X will be especially expensive for consumers in India. The price chart below shows that the phone is likely to cost as much as Rs 89,000 in India which translates to something around $1,300. However, the phone will be available in US market for $999. Not just India, going by the price chart, the handset will be expensive in a number of countries – Canada, UK, China, Hong Kong, and UAE too.
Apple launched new series iPhone X, as well as iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus on Tuesday in a glittering ceremony held at Steve Jobs Theater, Apple Park, California. The new Apple iPhone X (64GB model) will be priced at Rs 89,000 in India, while the high-end version of 256GB will be available at Rs 102,000. The iPhone 8 (64GB variant) price in India will be Rs 64,000, while the 256GB storage model for the same will be available at Rs 77,000.
The iPhone 8 Plus (64GB model) will cost Rs 73,000, while the 256GB variant will cost Rs 86,000. Apple has kept a considerable gap is pricing of iPhone 8 and iPhone X range. The gap is likely to ensure that a number of customers will also settle for the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus because they appear to be affordable.
