Smartphone giant Apple is all set to unveil its much awaited iPhone 8, iPhone 8 plus and iPhone X phones. While there is a lot of buzz around the launch of these devices, most people are eager to know about specification of the new phones. Looking at its previous launches, Apple has a record of offering premium features, which, however, come at a heftier price in comparison with its rivals. The company is all set to unveil its new products in its September 12 event at the Steve Jobs Theater. Along with phone, Apple will also launch a new campus called the Apple Park.
iPhone 8, iPhone 8 plus features
Apple iPhone 8, iPhone 8 is likely to go under some minor upgrades compared to the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus series. The Indian Express says that the aluminium chassis design offered by the company in the iPhone 7 series will continue with the iPhone 8. As per the report, Apple is likely to upgrade the processor from the A10 chip to the A1. The new phones may begin with 64GB instead of 32GB ROM. However, the rear camera will be retained at 12MP on both, while the Plus range will continue to come with the dual rear camera.
The report says that iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus is unlikely to get an OLED, bezel-less display. The phone will stick to its earlier 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch LCD display on these smartphones. However, the operating system may see a change this time and see the new phones running on iOS 11.
Apple iPhone X Specifications
Apple iPhone X or iPhone Special Edition is likely to see a number of editions. As per the report, the phone will have a 5.8-inch bezel-less OLED display, and will actually be more compact than the other available devices. The phone will sport a glass and steel design, with the front and back having glass build up held together by a steel frame. The phone will be identical in design with iPhone 4, 4s. The front side of the phone will also sport a face recognition scanner. What Apple may do away with iPhone X is the Touch ID and physical home button on the front, the report quoting leaked images said.
