Amazon India’s website has listed the Samsung Galaxy On7 Prime. Samsung’s latest offering which was under the wrap for some time now has been given a sneak peek at the device. However, the listing avoids mentioning any details about pricing or the release date of the device. By looking at the specifications, Samsung Galaxy On7 Prime may be listed at somewhere in the price range of Rs 15,000. The segment is dominated by other manufacturers like Moto, Honor and Xiaomi.
As per the listing on Amazon India, Samsung Galaxy On7 Prime will have the 1.6 GHz Octa-core Exynos 7870 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. The device comes loaded with 64 GB of internal memory. The listing also mentions a smaller variant with 3 GB of RAM and 32 Gb of internal storage memory. However, both will have the option of expanding storage up to 256 Gb via micro SD card. With Galaxy On7 Prime, Samsung has really upped its camera performance. Both the front and rear camera will have 13 MP f/1.9 aperture lens. Samsung also boasts that the performance of the device will be very good in low light conditions. The device has also been listed on Amazon’s UAE website. The phone is 8 mm thick, which is slimmer for a mid-range device – however, the slim body has managed to house a 3300 mAh battery (listed on the Amazon UAE website).
On the front of the device is a 5.5-inch full high definition display with thinner side bezels. According to the images, the phone will have thicker top and bottom bezels, that houses the touch capacitive buttons. That means the device will not have on-screen touch capacitive buttons. The Samsung Galaxy On7 Prime also bring the Samsung Pay Mini. With the help of Samsung Pay Mini, one can make instant payments using UPI and mobile wallets.
It was an interesting move by Samsung to have revealed the product before the Mobile World Congress that is slated for February 2018. Samsung is likely to hold an event on Wednesday, where another product that is listed on Amazon, the Samsung Galaxy A8+ may be launched.
