In another attractive offer by Reliance Communications, the company had today launched its new scheme with which the users will be able to make unlimited voice calls, across any network at the cost of Rs 149. The Unlimited Rs 149 plan, which will allow free outgoing calls to any telecom network in the country, also offers 300 MB of internet data across all 2G, 3G and 4G connectivity.

The company claimed that the newly launched plan, which will be available across all technology platforms is clearly targeted to pull 2G, 3G and 4G users to the Reliance Communication network.

In a statement to the media, Reliance said,”There are still hundreds of millions of older 2G handset-owners in India, and RCOM is positioning the unique plan to migrate these customers to its network, along with 300 MB of data usage. And with RCOM’s high-speed add-on data plans, ‘149 Unlimited’ will also appeal to data-heavy 3G-4G customers, who will benefit from unlimited calling talk-time.”

Though the new Unlimited Rs 149 plan by Reliance is similar to a Reliance Jio plan, but this plan would be available to all handsets, unlike the RJio plan which can be accessed only through a 4G VoLTE handsets.

While the new budget scheme by the telecom network would be available in its 17 RCom circles across the country, the service won’t be available in West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, Assam and Northeast, due to the lack of 2G airwaves.
