Leading cab aggregator Ola has inked a partnership with Rapid Metro Gurgaon. Under the partnership, Ola Kiosks and Ola Zones have been set-up at Vodafone Belvedere, Sector 54 Chowk and Sector 55-56 Rapid Metro stations. Passengers travelling on Rapid Metro will now be able to book a cab with the assistance of Ola representatives stationed at Ola Kiosks within the station premises. Further, Ola Zones will also help in easing the parking issue as cabs will now be allocated dedicated parking spots near or within the station premises. Ola Zones will also work as dedicated pick up and drop off points for customers, enabling ETAs (Expected Time of Arrival) as low as 2 minutes. The entire loop of Rapid Metro Gurgaon is 11.7 kms with 12 trains and 11 stations providing mass transit solution for areas in and around Cyber City, DLF Phase 2 and 3, NH-8 and Golf Course Road up to Sectors 55 and 56 of Gurugram.
“At Ola, we are relentlessly working towards our mission of building mobility for a billion Indians; and while it is important to keep innovating novel smart and sustainable mobility solutions, it’s also crucial to strengthen the existing transportation network of our cities. Rapid Metro Gurgaon’s network is a vital part of Gurugram’s transport ecosystem and we are proud to associate with them to further ease out the last mile connectivity for thousands of commuters,” Saurabh Mishra, Director – Alliances at Ola said.
