LinkedIn survey: Flipkart India’s ‘most sought after workplace’, Amazon, KPMG follow

Flipkart has won the ‘most sought-after workplace' title in the country, as per a study conducted by professional networking site, Linkedin.

Flipkart has won the ‘most sought-after workplace’ title in the country, as per a study conducted by professional networking site, Linkedin. Amazon and KPMG India took the second and third place, respectively. Kalyan Krishnamurthy, the CEO, Flipkart, said: “We are thrilled to be the most sought-after company to work for in India for the second year in a row. We have an extremely open and empowering culture that places full trust in our employees.”

Flipkart has been taking some pro-employee measures from appointing one of its employees as ‘one day CEO’ to giving six months of paid maternity leave to working mothers, etc. It had also introduced a liberal paternity and adoption leave plan recently.

Others in the top 10 include One97 Communications (Paytm), Ola, HCL Technologies, Adobe, Alphabet, Oyo Rooms and Reliance Industries. Irfan Abdulla, director (talent solutions & learning), LinkedIn India, said understanding the pulse of a younger employee base, enterprises in India are working to build an ethos that drives performance. LinkedIn said many of the goo employers have one thing in common — they reward their employees well.
