Jet Airways to soon offer wi-fi facility on all aircraft

In news that will delight fliers, Jet Airways has announced that it will offer the facility of Wi-Fi on all its aircraft by March 2017.

In news that will delight fliers, Jet Airways has announced that it will offer the facility of Wi-Fi on all its aircraft by March 2017. The move comes within months of the Civil Aviation Ministry deciding that airlines should be allowed to offer Wi-Fi use facility on flights. Internationally many airlines already have this service for passengers. Jet Airways has also announced heavily discounted airfares for economy class travel, starting as low as Rs 899 inclusive of taxes for a one way journey on select domestic routes across its network.

The four day ticket sale, which commenced from mid-night and will remain open till December 2 will be valid on economy fares with a 15 days post-booking waiting period for travel commencement, Jet Airways has said. The Year-end sale offers comes with an all-inclusive fares, starting from Rs 899 on select sectors across the airline’s domestic network, the airline said.

Valid for travel on Jet Airways direct flights on the domestic network, the special fares offer will be available to guests on first-come-first serve basis, Jet Airways said,, adding guests will have the flexibility to alter their travel plans at an additional charge, the release said.
