Jet Airways on Friday posted a standalone net profit of Rs 221.7 crore for the first quarter ended June 2015. The company registered net loss of Rs 217.65 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago.
During April-June period, revenue of the company jumped 11.41 per cent to Rs 5220.11 crore against Rs 4685.64 crore in the same quarter last year.
Operating profit margin (OPM) of the company also expanded to 12.22 per cent from 3.48 per cent during the same period.
The share price of the company was trading over 7 per cent higher at Rs 398 in the late trade. It opened at Rs 380.40 and had touched a high and low of Rs 403.85 and Rs 376.20, respectively, in trade so far.
