The job

In the online world, every day is a new challenge where things are changing rapidly. Innovative and creative ways are necessary to keep engaging with our customers and old paradigms have to be broken to make way for new ones. One can do small experiments with new stuff without worrying about breaking the bank and that is the best thing about my job — the freedom to experiment with ideas without worrying too much about the consequences in terms of success or failure.

The Weekdays

My day usually starts at 6am when I go for morning run. I call it my meditation as it also clears my head and helps me chart out the agenda for the day. Once in office, I catch up with the business team.Brainstorming sessions, passionate debates and important decision making are an integral part of such discussions. Next, I focus on the product and how can we further improve on it. Tech priorities are then sorted. Before I know it, the day is done and I am on my way home. I eat an early dinner by 7.30pm and then like to spend some time with my kids. I like to read some non-fiction before I sleep.

The Weekend

I am an avid golfer and play at least one round. I do a bit of yoga. The rest of the morning is spent doing some household chores or a bit of shopping. I love an afternoon siesta on weekends and then in the evening, I like to catch up with friends, watch a movie or go out for a quiet family dinner.

The Toys

I am a big Apple fan and love all my Apple devices.

The Logos

Nike is an all-time favourite sportswear brand along with Oakley sunglasses. My weakness is watches — I have a few and TAG Heuer is my favourite.
