HCL Tech forms digital alliance with Manchester United

Manchester United, the iconic English football club, has entered into a digital partnership with India's fourth largest IT services exporter HCL Technologies.

As the first step, HCL will create a United Xperience Lab to be housed within the Old Trafford stadium of Machester United, which will make it the seventh such lab across the world.

Manchester United, the iconic English football club, has entered into a digital partnership with India’s fourth largest IT services exporter HCL Technologies. As part of this partnership, HCL and Manchester United will work together to explore and unveil a number of digital initiatives for the Club’s 659 million global followers.

As the first step, HCL will create a United Xperience Lab to be housed within the Old Trafford stadium of Machester United, which will make it the seventh such lab across the world. Within the lab, HCL and Manchester United will explore ways in which the club uses technology to create a unified fan experience for supporters.

Manchester United Group Managing Director, Richard Arnold said, “Our partnership with HCL is a first for Manchester United. Through digital transformation we hope to change the way in which our fans experience and interact with Manchester United.

HCL Technologies had recently announced the launch of a United Xperience Lab offering to institutionalise co-innovation process for building digital solutions for and with its customers. HCL Technologies President & CEO Anant Gupta said, “Our partnership (With Man U) will enable HCL to create and manage these digital assets at a scale which will make it a prototype for successful digital co-innovation in any industry/organization in the world.”

“We are very pleased with the success of our United Xperience Labs network which has rapidly increased to cover six markets and industry segments over the last one year,” said Jaco Van Eeden, Head of HCL’s Beyond Digital Business Unit.

    The renowned FinancialExpress should know that its Manchester United and not ManU. Its a shame that you write about Manchester United and do not know a bit about them. Google why they are not called ManU u dumb!! U are a disgrace.
